Stacy Toran

(1961-1989) Section 225, Lot 167A

Toran excelled in both basketball and football while at Broad Ripple High School. He is best known for a miracle last second shot that allowed Broad Ripple to move on and eventually win the state basketball championship in 1980.

He went on to play football at Notre Dame and was on the Los Angeles Raiders when his life was cut short in an auto accident. See the miracle shot here:
