Update from our Artists-in-Residence

As the cemetery transitions from winter to spring, 2025 Crown Hill Artists-in-Residence, Jessica Dunn and Michael Moskaliuk, have been working on their documentary, Resting Place — A Documentary Exploration of Time, Life, and Nature.

The project is inspired by their daily walks through the cemetery. Sometimes their walk is to the exact same location, to watch the transformation of nature as it comes alive in the spring; other days, they explore “new to them” sections of the cemetery to be inspired by the beauty of the interaction of the tombstones and nature.
