Message From The President

Back to normal … at least the new normal. This past year, we were encouraged as we began to see many visitors back at Crown Hill. While we were not able to host any large in-person events, we were able to bring back our public tours, most of which sold out! In addition to bringing back public tours, we also launched a new app that allows people to take their own self-guided tour.

We also have a new, redesigned tree tour that many have taken advantage of during the spring, summer and fall months. Our preservation efforts continued this year, finishing up some projects and starting new ones.

As I look back on the last year, I offer my gratitude for your support and generosity that continues to make our mission possible. Our mission to preserve and celebrate Crown Hill Cemetery is thriving because of the support of our donors. As we look ahead, we have many exciting plans to ensure Crown Hill continues to be an invaluable asset for our community, our city, our state and our nation.

Specifically, we will be working with Crown Hill boards and leadership around a capital campaign that will address historic preservation needs and establish Crown Hill as a certified arboretum.

As we look ahead to the great possibilities that next year will bring, we also know that we cannot do it without your support. I ask you to partner with us by making a donation and joining us in our mission as we preserve and celebrate Crown Hill Cemetery!
