Memorial Day Walking Tours

Crown Hill National Cemetery

New in 2022 will be four guided walking tours held on Memorial Day at 10 am, 11 am, noon, and 3 pm (or following the Memorial Day Ceremony). Each tour is approximately 45 minutes long, and all highlighting military veterans. Themes will vary and will possibly be repeated. Following the 12 pm tour, join us for a patriotic band concert behind the Gothic Chapel at 1:30 pm. The 152nd Memorial Day Ceremony will begin at 2 pm and will feature keynote speaker Marine Corporal Josh Bleill (ret) and a 21-gun salute with Howitzer cannons.

Where to meet: The first three tours will depart from in front of the Gothic Chapel, which can be located from either gate by following the white line. The last tour following the Memorial Day Ceremony will depart from the flagpole on the National Cemetery (behind the Memorial Day stage).

All tours are free and will be conducted by Crown Hill Tour Guides. Plenty of free parking and restrooms will be available.
