Beyond the Subway Northside Tour

Beginning in the late 1800s, development started on the north side of Crown Hill Cemetery. We will explore the property north of 38^th Street, and we’ll focus on the 20th-century history of Indianapolis, influenced by those buried beyond the Subway. The tour will start at the Community Mausoleum (700 West 38^th Street).

This tour will be offered:

May 13: 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm

July 11: 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm

August 29: 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm

October 21: 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm

Tour Tickets:

• $15 per person
• No gate sales, tickets must be purchased online
• Ticket sales are limited to 35 people

Walking tour! This walking tour will cover about a mile at a comfortable pace for most. 

Where to meet: The Community Mausoleum (behind the funeral home) at 700 West 38th Street. Please arrive 10-15 min. early.

All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
