Behind Closed Doors

Have you ever wondered what is behind those closed, locked doors of some of our family mausoleums? Wait no more! Step through the doors of six family mausoleums on Wednesday, September 25th from 6 – 8 pm.  During this exclusive event, you’ll have the chance to walk the grounds and tour the resting places of famous names like Fisher (of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway) and hotel owners Claypool and Severin.  Some other names like Frenzel, Dickson, or Staub you might not have heard of yet, but those interred in these mausoleums were influential in the development and preservation of our city.  As a special treat, our newest family mausoleum (finished in 2023) will also be open.

As a part of this event, your ticket will include exclusive access to six of our family mausoleums and specially curated food (heavy hors d’oeuvres) and drink stations from Indy-area chefs and mixologists. The event will begin at the Gothic Chapel and the mausoleum tour walk will cover about 1 mile. For those with mobility issues and needing special assistance, golf carts will be available.
