Have you ever wondered what is behind those closed, locked doors of some of our family mausoleums? During this exclusive event, you’ll have the chance to walk the grounds and tour the resting places of famous names like Fisher (of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway) and hotel owners Claypool and Severin. Some other names like Frenzel, Dickson, or Staub you might not have heard of yet, but those interred in these mausoleums were influential in the development and preservation of our city. As a special treat, our newest family mausoleum (finished in 2023) will also be open.

On this tour, led by our staff arborist, we will take a closer look at some of the remarkable trees in the cemetery giving attendees a chance to appreciate the views and learn a little more about the physiology behind the season of letting go.
