Arthur Bohn (1861-1948)
Born in Louisville to Gustav and Julie Bohn, Arthur moved to Indianapolis with his parents as a child. In 1884, he and Bernard Vonnegut met while both were teaching descriptive geometry at an industrial training school organized by the German-English School Society. In 1888, they formed the architectural firm of Vonnegut and Bohn. Bohn devoted himself to architecture for 60 years, not retiring until 1945.
