Monument Restoration

Both above and below is the beautiful statue of Corliss Randle Ruckle (1877-1889), a 12-year-old boy who died of diphtheria 122 years ago. Corliss' life-size statue is one of many the Heritage Foundation has cleaned and restored with the help of our generous donors and the Graveyard Groomers. We have much more work to do and we can't do it without your help. We invite you to join us in restoring the treasures of Crown Hill Cemetery ~ our statues, monuments, historic family mausoleums, and markers. If you would like to help us continue this important work, please contact Marianne at or call (317) 920-4165.

Corliss' statue is one of a number of Crown Hill monuments and statues listed in the Smithsonian American Art Museum's Art Inventories Catalog.
